New Baby Journals

A new baby, a little life born unto you and your family. A precious gem. Your thoughts are all over the place, worry, joy, delight, hope and more dip and weave with the emotions. Journaling is such a wonderful outlet for the waiting time, as well as with your new baby's precious milestones. You may be exhausted, but you and your child will delight to read of their first night home, or the joy of their first word and more.

There are plenty of "baby books" out that are commercially available to help you on your pathway. However, a simple writing journal might be answer to a uncomplicated method of getting your thoughts on to paper. How about creating a book just for that child's whole life... not only can you write your thoughts on their birth, first word, first steps, but how about continuing on to their first day of school, first emergency room visit, how proud you feel as they grow and mature. What a wonderful legacy you will leave for each child you bring into the world.

Here are some thoughts to get you

started in Journaling for your New Baby.

Keep it SIMPLE!!! If you hardly have time to sleep let alone create fancy scrapbooks and fill in the blank memories, then don't push it. Do what you can, but do it consistantly. Even a few sentences will add up and over the years you'll have a priceless keepsake.

If you can't scrapbook and journal pictures and cards and all, then stash in a collection of large envelopes. Make sure to mark them with the month and date, or perhaps just the year. You'll have time eventually to go through it all, and it will be just where you want it when you have the time.
