Creative Journaling

Do you ever have moments when you are overcome with a creative impulse? Has a thought ever occurred to you in the form of poetry of verse? These are the times you need a journal on hand to express the creativity deep down inside of you. Whether it be a poetic moment, or an idea you desire to express through a fictional character, creative journaling is a style that allows you to express your deepest thoughts in a more creative, artist way. It is perhaps the best way to develop your poetry and fictional writing skills.

Here are some thoughts to get you started in Creative Journaling.

A creative journal has no real boundries! Be as unusual as you want! Mixed media, different book materials, it can be whatever you choose to express your creative needs.

Remember that nothing in this journal needs to be "finished" or complete. You can jot down drawing ideas, compositions, bits of dialouge, a story plot, a poem or quotes you love. The idea is to get the juices flowing!

Whatever you desire to do, do it in a creative journal!
